Abercrombie & Fitch has closed 137 stores as more and more of its sales are taking place online. The New Albany-based company removed 1.1 million square feet of real estate from its balance sheet in 2020, including eight large-scale flagship stores and 129 in other locations, it reported on an earnings call this week.
