What inspired you to pursue a career in nursing?
I have always been motivated by helping others achieve their goals. The rewarding nature of the job, combined with the potential to enjoy stable work opportunities have motivated me to pursue a career in nursing that I hope to continue growing in for the entirety of my professional life.
What do you learn from working in a hospital?
Working in a hospital definitely does. It teaches one the art of loving life and appreciating the beauty associated with it. It teaches us empathy. Since empathy is an acquired skill and the neural circuitry a malleable palette, we can train our brains to be more empathetic.
