Is Fowey worth visiting?
Fowey is definitely worth a visit- it’s a lovely place. Charlestown is very nice too- we often go there for sunday lunch. There is a pub on the left as you drive down the hill to the port called the Rashleigh Arms. They do a brilliant value carvery on Sundays which is amazing.

Fowey is full of holiday lets. You should find loads with internet searches for next year inc river side properties. Fowey is lovely and not quite so manic as Padstow in the main season. Lots of good restaurants, cafes and several nice little shops.

Why was Fowey important during the 100 Years War?
