Can you kayak the Green River in Utah?
Kayaking on the Green River takes you through mostly flat water in desert scenery, but some sections offer more challenging rapids up to Class III. You can kayak the Green from April to October, but high water generally occurs in July.

While you can’t kayak the entire Colorado River from start to finish without exiting your boat and hiking a great deal, you can kayak most of it. The Colorado River is divided into the Upper and Lower Basins, which is separated at Lee’s Ferry. The Glen Canyon Dam is situated just upriver of Lee’s Ferry.
How long does it take to float Labyrinth Canyon?
It is commonly floated from the town of Green River to Mineral Bottom, as a 68-mile trip, or from Ruby Ranch to Mineral Bottom as a 45-mile trip. I would recommend 3 days as a minimum if starting at Ruby Ranch, and 4+ if starting from Green River. The canyon lends itself to lazy afternoons at camp and a leisurely pace.

The 730-mile-long Green River is the main tributary of the Colorado River, beginning in Wyoming and flowing through Utah into San Juan County. The powerful river winds through the rugged sandstone canyons on the west edge of Canyonlands National Park, converging with the Colorado River at the southern tip of the park.
