Should you go up a size in slim fit jeans?

How much do Gustin jeans shrink?
Follow the standard wash procedures written for raw denim jeans. We prewash all our shirting fabrics prior to production, but you can expect about a 1% shrink after the first wash.
Should you size up in Levi’s?
For those who want to machine wash and dry the jeans, we recommend sizing up. For your waist, increase 1″ for sizes 27″-36″, 2″ for 38″-48″, and 3″ for 50″ and up. And for your inseam, increase 3″ for sizes 27″-34″ and 4″ for 36″ and up.
Should you size up in 100 cotton jeans?
Always take the smaller size as cotton tends to grow when it doesn’t have a stretch fabric mixed into the cotton. It will shrink slightly on washing and stretch again when worn. With Raw Denim the 100% cotton has not been treated at all at the factory.
