Car parking is free during the week and £3 at weekends. You can also park on the street for free.

Danson Splash Park is open from May to September, while the playground is open all year round.

Kids love the play frame with ladders to hang from, slides to fly down and great, big tyre swings! The whole team can then enjoy a picnic, have a go at rowing on the ornamental lake, plus – in the right season – see if they can spot some adorable little ducklings.

Can you swim in Danson Park?
We’re pleased to report that lake swimming is now open and will be available to all DWOT full and open water swim members. Open water swimming sessions are Monday and Friday, 6pm – 8pm at the access ramp adjacent to the boathouse.
How do you pay for parking at Danson Park?
Danson Park is situated wedged between Bexleyheath and Welling and is well served by buses. The park also can be reached by car from the A2 via the A221 or A207. Limited car parking is available on site at Danson Park, a charge of £2.50 is levied at weekends and bank holidays from April-September.
Are BBQS allowed in Danson Park?
You’re not allowed to use a barbecue or have an open fire in any of the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s parks and open spaces. This protects our parks, heathland, woodland and local wildlife from the potential fire hazard and any related damage.
Who owned Danson Park?
The house is now owned by English Heritage on a 999-year lease from 1997, and will eventually be managed by a trust. It is open to the public on selected viewing days.
