How do you use Bazuka treatment gel?
Carefully apply a thin coating (one or two drops) of the gel to the top of the wart, verruca, corn or callus only:
- avoid the gel spreading to the surrounding healthy skin;
- allow the gel to dry for a few minutes to form a small white patch that sticks to the treated area and is water resistant;
Can Bazuka burn skin?
Well, with Bazuka which is essentially an acid, it will ‘burn’ the dead skin cells away, allowing (eventually), your immune system to see the exposed virus.
How quickly does Bazuka work?
The gel should be applied to the wart, verruca, corn or callus every night. Treatment can take up to twelve (12) weeks for resistant lesions to disappear, and it is necessary to persevere with the treatment.
How do you know if Bazuka is working?
On close inspection they can resemble tiny black dots under a rough, sometimes circular layer of skin. A slight depression in the centre of the affected area is a sign that the verruca has fully formed. Also, the skin can have a harder edge around a softer centre.
Why has my verruca turned white?
Also try to keep it off the normal skin. The acid will turn the wart into dead skin (it will turn white).
Can you squeeze verruca out?
If damaged the verruca will bleed. We often use an easy test to differentiate a corn between a verruca if we are unsure by looking at the skin. If you squeeze the skin around the lesion, medially to laterally, as the diagram. If the lesion is painful to squeeze, then this is most probably a verruca.
What happens if you pick a verruca off?
As discussed earlier picking, or scratching the verruca can cause it to bleed and spread. There is no clinical evidence to suggest any of these treatments will help treat your verruca, they will however make your foot smell funky!
When is a verruca ready to pull out?
When it turns black, you know that the supply of blood to the virus has been cut off. The verruca is dead and will push itself out. ‘When verrucas are alive they will bleed profusely when you cut them.
