Where can I wild camp in the Gower?
The Gower Peninsula Coast Path is perfect for wild camping….Here are a few I saw signposts for along the trail:

Can you camp on Rhossili beach?

Llangennith Camping Enjoy the finest beach in all of the Gower by pitching up at a campsite near Llangennith on the end of the peninsula. This place is a camping Mecca in the South of Wales and the surfing’s not half bad either.
Is Hillend Caravan Park open?
Hillend Camping & Caravan Park is at Llangennith – By the Beach. The beach car park is open from 8am to 10pm, no overnight parking is permitted.
How long is the Gower Coastal Path?

The entire Gower Coast Path is 39 miles in length and takes the average walker four to five days to complete. It runs all the way from Crofty to the golden sands of Mumbles, a charming seaside village.
Can I wild camp in Snowdonia?
Wild camping can be a rewarding experience, bringing people closer to their natural environment. However, wild camping is not permitted anywhere in Snowdonia without prior permission from the landowner or farmer. Camping in car parks or on roadside verges is not allowed at any time.

How do I get to the sunflower field in Rhossili?
There are a couple of ways to get to the Rhossili Sunflower fields from Swansea.
- One is to head west towards Mumbles and turn right at West Cross. This takes you over Clyne Common and through Kittle.
- The other is to head up past Singleton Park, through Killay and Upper Killay and out on to Fairwood Common.

John Fowler Holidays has bought Llanrhidian Holiday Park. The value of the deal for the park, on the Gower Peninsula has not been disclosed. The Devon-based holiday park group now operates 12 parks throughout Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Wales.
How long is the Gower way?

Inaugurated by the Prince of Wales in 1998, the Gower Way runs 35 miles (56km) from Rhossili at the extreme south-west of the Gower Peninsula, through to Penlle’r Castell in upland Mawr (this is a cross-section of the area covered by the ancient lordship of Gower).

However, it is tolerated and commonplace in Snowdonia. The Snowdonia National Park Authority accepts that wild camping on un-enclosed fell land, away from roads, is accepted if undertaken responsibly by small numbers of people.
